HOW WE’VE HELPED
Ways We’ve Helped Communities Thrive
Some of the organizations we have helped with grants and in-kind donations:
Community Food Pantry Partnerships
Some of the ways we provide support to area food pantries are by donating food directly to them or by setting them up with a food drive at one of the Zallie Family Markets ShopRites.
Kelly’s Kidz
We partner with local charity Kelly’s Kidz to bring Holiday gifts to children through Virtua Health’s early intervention program and pediatric mobile units.
Homeless Outreach
Volunteers at ShopRite make sandwiches and snacks to provide for homeless.
Snack Packs for Chemo Patients
Our group of volunteers assembled 150 snack packs for chemo patients as part of the many projects available at The Unforgotten Haven. The Snack packs are distributed to adults going through chemo at cancer centers where chemotherapy infusion takes place like MD...
Cathedral Kitchen
We are proud to support Cathedral Kitchen with financial resources and by volunteering our time.
Holiday Turkey Donations
Over 2,000 families located within the Zallie Family Markets’ store locations received a turkey for the Holidays thanks to the generosity of the local store customers.
South Jersey Dream Center
We partner with SJDC in many ways including sponsoring their annual Pickleball Against Poverty Tournament.
Food Bank of South Jersey
We volunteer at the Food Bank of South Jersey in addition to operating one of their Mobile Food Pantries.
Thanksgiving Dinner Outreach
Thanks to Zallie Family Markets’ customers donating their free turkey at Thanksgiving, we were able to provide 413 area families with a frozen turkey and all of the elements to prepare and provide a full Thanksgiving dinner for their families.
Sandwich Making
Our volunteers regularly make sandwiches for donation to local outreach groups.
National Pet Month
In honor of National Pet Month in May, we provide over 25 animal rescue organizations with a financial grant.
Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey
One of our ways to support them include opening and stocking a Snack Food Pantry for their residents.
